,In this General Meeting, we're going to talk about future projects - especially our Voter Girl Project with the Girl Scouts and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Plan.

Voter Girl Project (https://my.lwv.org/ohio/kent/voter-girl)
The VOTER Girl Project is a fun and rewarding activity in which Leagues collaborate with their local Girl Scout councils. The one-day class is available for all scout levels - from Daisies to Ambassadors - with a curriculum appropriate for each level. We collaborate with the Mountains to Midlands Girl Scouts Council to provide teachers and curriculum for this event each year. LWVS hosted the Voter Girl Project at Camp Mary Elizabeth in Spartanburg last year on November 2nd.

Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Plan (LWV US - https://www.lwv.org/league-management/diversity-equity-inclusion)
We are reviewing, along with other Leagues nationwide, a plan to improve Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in our League, our community and our state. The Leagues have adopted policies and procedures to address internal racism and gender inequalities within our Leagues at every level and within the communities we serve. The League does not discriminate against its members regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, gender identity, age, education, culture, and/or political perspective. Follow this link to read what's been developed so far, then ask questions or make suggestions during the meeting.
