If you receive an invitation or renewal reminder email from [email protected], the process is simple:
- Open the email: The email will contain a link to the LWV Member Portal and specific instructions.
- Click the link: The link will direct you to your specific League's portal page or the main portal login page.
- Enter your email: The email address associated with your membership will be your username. Enter it on the login screen.
- Receive a verification code: The system will send a new email to that address containing a unique, one-time verification code.
- Enter the code: Go back to the portal login screen and enter the verification code to access your account.
- Complete the process: Once logged in, you can update your contact information, choose to set up auto-renewal, and pay your annual dues if it is time to renew.

- Go to the portal: Navigate to the main LWV Member Portal at portal.lwv.org.
- Enter your email: Type in the email address you have on file with the League (or the one you want to associate with your membership).
- Receive and enter the verification code: As described above, the system will email you a verification code. Enter this code to log in.
- Join/Renew: Once logged in, you will be guided through the process to complete your membership form, update information, and submit payment for dues.
- Unique Email: Each member must have a unique email address to use the portal.
- No Password: You do not need a password to log in unless you choose to set one manually in your profile after logging in.

- Offline Option: If you do not use the internet, you can still join or renew by sending a check made out to LWVUS and your membership form to LWV Spartanburg, PO BOX 6507, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
